Thanatos, one of the hundreds of children of Nyx and Erebus, is the Former God of Gentle Death, now “deceased” - or as close to it as an immortal deity can get. As the root of literally everyone’s problems, Thanatos was a dangerously manipulative villain and mass murderer well beyond his realm.
For centuries, Thanatos managed to wreak unchecked havoc among many, including upon his own twin brother Hypnos, Elysium's own Princess Maci, and many of the Elysium'verse's core cast, before finally being “killed” for his crimes.
